PRESS RELEASE – June 2015
High profile speaker for WayfinderWoman
WayfinderWoman, a Sussex charity that supports women in work, has secured Katy Bourne, Sussex Police & Crime Commissioner as a keynote speaker for their next event.
Run as group coaching for women in business, Laura Murphy, Chairperson said, “Whether you run your own business or work for someone else, there’s inevitably difficult situations you have to face to succeed. We bring influential women to speak at the WayfinderWoman Club to share their experiences. That way we can all gain ideas and support each other in overcoming those difficulties.”
Asked to talk about the qualities required to be successful, Katy said, “As the Police and Crime Commissioner for Sussex I believe that women can and should take up positions of leadership in our society. Having previously run a successful business there are a number of values I have embraced during my professional career – hard work, integrity and fairness, crucial qualities that have helped me succeed. I look forward to sharing my experiences with the women at the WayfinderWoman Club”.
The WayfinderWoman Club runs at the award winning Best Western Lansdown Hotel on Wednesday 8 July from 6.00-7.00pm. Admission is £10 to include a drink and all profits go towards the charity. Places are limited and early booking is recommended. To book your place email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone Laura Murphy on 0796 957 2964
