This is a wonderful opportunity for women to come together and discover how music and song can energise and embrace our lives and histories.

Acclaimed duo Milton Hide (Jo Church and Jim Tipler) have performed all over the UK, using local stories as inspiration for new songs.

Now it’s your turn to spend time with them and see how your story can be expressed in music. It might be a character you’ve met, a local story about your neighbourhood, a folk tale about your area or a recollection from your childhood. Whatever it is they want to hear from you.

This event, hosted by Wayfinder Woman, is part of a National Lottery Community Funded project, so entry is free.

The Grove Theatre bar and café will be open from 5:30, so you can relax with a glass or wine of cup of coffee before the event starts.
