Oryxalign Bike-a-Thon!

Oryxalign employees pedalled for a purpose in exciting bike-a-thon for WayfinderWoman!

In a show of solidarity and spirit, employees of OryxAlign took to their bikes in a thrilling Bike-a-thon, to raise funds for us.  The event, which was filled with fun and friendly competition, saw participants from the London and Manchester offices going head-to-head in 30 and 60-minute slots.

The Bike-a-thon was live-streamed, allowing everyone to cheer on the participants and get involved in the excitement. The event ran from 9 am to 5 pm, with employees competing to see who could cycle the furthest in their allotted time slot.

The atmosphere was electric as employees pushed their limits, all for a good cause. The competition was fierce but friendly and to keep the cyclists fuelled, energy bars and home-made flapjacks were provided throughout the day.

The event was not just about competition, but also about bringing the team together, fostering a sense of camaraderie, and making a difference in the community. The Bike-a-thon was a testament to Oryxalign’s commitment to social responsibility and team spirit.

An amazing, 251.3 kms were cycled overall, with Manchester completing 98.95 kms and London completing 152.35 kms. Wanting to raise £500, by 16 July they’d already raised £490!

Head of HR, Helen Peckham said, “The Oryxalign team has once again shown that when it comes to supporting a worthy cause, they are always ready to go the extra mile, or in this case, the extra kilometre!”
