What is Pier2Peer?
Pier2Peer is a walk, run, and cycle event along the picturesque coastline between Eastbourne and Hastings Piers, which makes for a fun 16 mile challenge. But if that sounds a bit far for you then there is a shorter more accessible route from Eastbourne Pier to Sovereign Harbour and back. Still Pier2Peer, just the same one! So whatever your ability you can take part.
Why Should You Participate?
● Community Spirit: A great opportunity to get together with friends or colleagues to support a cause that matters!
● Inclusivity: Bring your four-legged companions and little ones in buggies – they’re all welcome!
● Affordable Sign-Up – just £15. Plus, your pledge to raise £25 in sponsorship – a small effort with a big impact.
● Stylish Swag: Want to stand out? For an additional £10 you’ll receive a branded t-shirt to wear with pride.
We’re grateful to our headline sponsors, Mark Bishop Plumbing and Heating Ltd and Bodi Blossom, as well as sponsors Mayo Wynne Baxter, for their unwavering support. Their commitment to our cause fuels our passion to empower women in the local area
Pier2Peer is the main fundraising event in the WayfinderWoman calendar and as such is crucial for our mission to provide a unique service for women in our community who need our help.
Your involvement will help us continue to offer;
A range of courses aimed at providing women with the confidence, skills and strength to take control of their future.
Help with career guidance to get more women back to the workplace.
Valuable volunteering opportunities that offer a variety of skills and experience based learning.
Our “safe space” drop in hub in the town centre.
A chance to connect with others who may have a shared journey or experience.
“Thank God for places like this!” – A sentiment echoed by many who’ve found solace at the WayfinderWoman Hub. It’s more than a safe space; it’s a lifeline for those who’ve suffered in silence. As one previous service user put it: “No woman should ever blindly walk past the WayfinderWoman Hub.”
We need companies throughout Sussex to get involved and join us for this year’s Pier2 Peer.
27th July 2024 – get it in your diary now.

Thank you
