UPDATE: SURVEY RESULTS

We're using the results of our annual survey and working to address women's needs

As we finish up 2024 – we look at the views of East Sussex women and what their aims are going forwards. See below for more information on the survey and upcoming events/courses.

  • The headlines of our 2024 survey show that the biggest challenges women are facing are the cost of living (30%) followed by feelings of anxiety/low confidence (19%).
  • The achievements most women wanted involved improving physical and mental health (42%) with q quarter of women saying financial security was a goal.
  • Mental and physical health scored highly as an area women would like training in (47%), followed most closely by assertiveness technique training (26%).
  • Gender discrimination had been experienced by 67%, 44% had experienced ageism and a quarter had experienced discrimination based on their social class.
This data not only lets us see the priorities and needs of local women but enables to act upon it by tailoring our courses, workshops and groups.

Please see our ‘What’s on’ page for details of all upcoming workshops/ courses/groups and events, which will be added to regularly.
