Thanks to National Lottery Funding we're looking to recruit a part-time Community Ambassador.
Could you use your community and events experience to support and manage a project for a local women’s charity in East Sussex?
Do you enjoy meeting new people?
Do you thrive on being part of a team that is passionate about what they do?
If this is you then join us as a Community Ambassador. You will develop and grow a community activity programme dedicated to helping woman and girls of working age to overcome social exclusion and build confidence.
Funded by the National Lottery, our Community Ambassador will be responsible for planning and delivering social events to a) support current volunteers in line with our Volunteer Nurturing Strategy and b) to support women in the community who are isolated or anxious. The Community Ambassador will also support the charity to increase its reach with an events calendar that will involve links and partnerships with the wider business and local community.
This is a 15 hrs a week (at £12-£15/hour DOE) 15 month contract and is open to those seeking employment or freelance work. There may be some activities held outside of normal working hours which will include our annual Work and Wellbeing Day and Pier2Peer which is our major fundraising event.
